From Miniatures to Manufacturing Innovation

What started as a niche D2C brand for high-quality resin miniatures evolved into a full-fledged 3D printing R&D and production lab. Under the dual structure of Druckado (B2B and industrial prototyping) and Resin Minis (direct-to-consumer creative products), we built a modular ecosystem that pushes the boundaries of additive manufacturing, both technically and strategically.

The mission: make local, on-demand production in Europe competitive, scalable, and sustainable.

01
THE CHALLENGE

Bridging Industry and Creativity

3D printing is full of potential but fragmented in practice. Industrial clients demand precision, reliability, and speed, while creative markets like gaming and design call for flexibility and visual quality. Bridging those two worlds required not only advanced production capabilities but also a strong business development strategy that aligned R&D with market demand.

We saw an opportunity to build a European prototyping hub capable of handling both: low-volume custom fabrication for industry, and agile, high-detail production for consumer brands.

02
THE SOLUTION

Building a Prototyping Lab for the Next Generation

We established a dedicated in-house prototyping laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art resin and FDM printers, precision curing systems, and post-processing tools. The lab enables us to iterate faster, test new resin formulations, and deliver industrial-grade prints for engineering, medical, and creative applications.

Through Druckado, we support B2B clients with tailored manufacturing solutions, from custom parts and functional prototypes to short-run production series. Our expertise in CAD modeling, material science, and print optimization allows us to offer consulting and full-service production within days, not weeks.

In parallel, Resin Minis continues as our D2C showcase brand, demonstrating what's possible when design meets technical precision. Every model is printed, finished, and shipped directly from our lab, proving that small-batch, local production can rival mass manufacturing in quality and efficiency.

03
THE OUTCOME

Scalable Additive Manufacturing from Berlin

Druckado and Resin Minis now operate as a connected system, one focused on innovation, the other on inspiration. Together, they form a sustainable production model that combines industrial precision with creative agility.

Our R&D efforts focus on new resin types, hybrid materials, and process automation for small-batch production. The result is a manufacturing setup that adapts quickly to client needs, from engineering prototypes to collectible micro-series.

By investing in our own lab and technology stack, we've positioned Druckado as a trusted partner for industrial prototyping and Resin Minis as a leading D2C brand for high-quality 3D-printed design objects.
